Paris -> Deutschland

We are on a train from Paris to Frankfurt today. Yesterday, we went to Disneyland and Charlie rode her first roller coaster! It was a completely terrifying experience for her. The ride was way more intense and load than we thought it would be. Emily was sitting next to her and did her best to comfort her. In the end, I think it’s good to get the first experience out of the way though, even if you just learn that you were not yet ready for it.

In Paris, we were at times listless, but I think we ended up having a really nice visit. Our apartment was really nice and comfortable, and it was located in a very quaint neighborhood. I think we are all getting a little tired of the food situation though. Everything is so rich.

I joked that our vacation was going to be progressively more challenging language-wise since we began in London, then went to Paris, and finally are going to Germany. We had almost no issue in Paris since basically everyone there can passably communicate in English.
